Beagle boys
The Beagle Boys ("Chicos Malos" in Latin America and "Golfos Apandadores" in Spain) are fictional characters from the universe of Scrooge McDuck. They are a gang of criminals who are constantly trying to steal from Scrooge McDuck and were created by Carl Barks.
In the comics, each can be identified by the numbers printed on the front of their shirts, which is each other's prisoner number. The most common combinations are: 176-167, 176-671 and 176-761.
In some animations they have names and different personalities. Many times the band is led by their mother. The Beagle Boys have many relatives who are brothers and cousins to each other, and all of them are dedicated to crime, except one of the cousins who is honest, and is considered the black sheep of the family.
According to cartoonist Don Rosa, the first meeting between the Beagle Boys and Scrooge McDuck was when the duck was on the Mississippi River on his uncle's ferry. Those Beagle Boys included Corazón Negro and his three children. Scrooge met the current Beagle Boys during Christmas 1947, where his great-nephew Huey, Dewey, and Louie first appeared. Since then the Beagle Boys have been a constant threat to Scrooge McDuck's fortune.
Sometimes they conspire with other villains like the Magical witch, Black Pete, the witch Madam Mim or are hired by Flintheart Glomgold or John D. Rockepato.
Other times they antagonize Goofy, Mickey Mouse or some other character from the Disney comics.
