Barra do Guarita

Barra do Guarita is a Brazilian municipality in the state of Rio Grande do Sul.

It is located at a latitude of 27º11'31" South and a longitude of 53º42'36" West, being at a height of 194 meters above sea level. Its estimated population for the year 2004 was 2,715 inhabitants.

It occupies an area of 67,431 km². The municipality is located on the banks of the Uruguay River, which acts as a natural boundary with the state of Santa Catarina.
