Baktoid Armor Workshop

Baktoid Armor Workshop, is a fictional war weapons construction company in the Star Wars film saga.

One of the most powerful and important arms companies throughout the galaxy. The headquarters of this company were located on the planet Metalorn, with manufacturing centers throughout the galaxy. Some of the most important planets were: Ord Lithone, Ord Cestus, Telti, Balmorra and Geonosis. The last world had special significance, since its inhabitants, (the Geonosians) contributed to the design of one of the best-known battle droids in the Old Galactic Republic.

Years before the Battle of Naboo, the company Baktoid Armor Workshop created a subsidiary: Baktoid Automata. This company would exclusively manufacture battle androids, leaving the tanks to its "older sister".

Throughout the Clone Wars, Baktoid Automaton was tasked with designing and crafting battle androids on all of the aforementioned worlds, and the Baktoid Armor Workshop continued to create ferocious tanks such as AATs and MTTs.

During the Clone Wars, the president of this large company reported directly to Wat Tambor, the leader of the Techno Union (a group to which Baktoid belonged). Wat Tambor decided to put a cunning plan into action and improved the conventional battle droids and started creating thousands of Super Battledroids. These new models made their appearance for the first time in the battle of Geonosis where they demonstrated their superiority and resistance over the old battle machines still in use.
