"Bahrainona" (بحريننا; Our Bahrain) is the national anthem of Bahrain. Two different versions were made with the same melody but with different lyrics. The first was used since UK independence from 1971 to 2002; the second has been in use since the referendum on constitutional amendments that declared the country's ruler, Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the king of Bahrain and the country a kingdom. The original lyrics were written by Mohammad Sodqi Ghajax (1925–2000) later changed by Jusef Ghattiah Rimawi. The composer is unknown, possibly Rimâwi, but the rearrangement is by Ahmad Gomajri.
