Audrey Tautou
Audrey Justine Tautou (pronounced [o.dʁɛ to.tu]; born August 9, 1976 in Beaumont) is a French actress.
She made her debut in television and film productions, most notably in Venus Beauty Institute (1999), directed by Tonie Marshall in 1999, where she was critically acclaimed. She subsequently appeared in films and achieved worldwide recognition for Amélie (2002) in her eponymous role, achieving critical and box office success, winning numerous awards and over time becoming an icon of contemporary culture. In his career, he has collaborated in different famous productions such as Dirty Pretty Things (2003), A Long Engagement Sunday (2004), The Da Vinci Code (2006), A luxury deception (2006), Coco before Chanel (2009), the trilogy by Cédric Klapisch (2002, 2005, 2013), he has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry like Claude Miller and Michel Gondry.
She has been nominated and won several categories and awards, including the César Awards, the Lumière Awards, the BAFTA, the European Film Award, and the Cannes Film Festival. Early Years
He was born in the town of Beaumont, in the Puy-de-Dôme department of Auvergne. His father is Bernard Tautou, a dental surgeon, and his mother is Évelyne Tautou, a teacher, former mayor of Montluçon and currently vice president of the group in charge of the culture of Montluçon. He spent his childhood and adolescence in the city of Montluçon, in nearby Allier, Auvergne, in the company of his two younger sisters and his brother, gendarmes.
He became interested in comedy at an early age and began taking drama courses at the Cours Florent acting school. Acting career
In 1998 she went to the casting of a French television channel called Jeunes Premiers and won the Best Young Actress category at the ninth Béziers Festival. She then starred in Venus beauty institute and won a César for Best New Actress. In 2000 she won the Prix Suzanne Bianchetti for being considered the most promising young actress.
But it was in 2001 and the movie Amélie that launched him to worldwide fame. In 2008, she filmed Cocó before Chanel, where she played Coco Chanel herself, and is the image of Chanel No. 5.

Tautou adopted a daughter born in Vietnam in 2019.
