In human anatomy, the arm is the second segment of the upper limb, between the shoulder girdle (which attaches it to the trunk) and the forearm. It articulates with the first in the scapula and with the second in the ulna.

The arm is also the analogous structure of a quadruped, in this case it is the front leg.

In colloquial language, the term arm is usually used for the complete upper extremity —or anterior, depending on the case—.

In political science and historiography, arm is used as a synonym for statement.

The upper arm bone is the humerus, which articulates with the scapula in the glenoid fossa, and with the ulna (ulna) and radius at its distal epiphysis.
