Ariadna Gil i Giner (Barcelona, January 23, 1969) is a Spanish film, theater and television actress.

Biography

She was discovered by director Bigas Luna, who made her debut in his film Lola, in 1986. After participating in four films made in Catalan, in 1991 she gained notoriety in Spanish cinema, starring in the feature film by Emilio Martínez Lázaro Amo tu cama rica, which won her the Ondas Award for the best Spanish actress of the year and definitively established her. After her came Belle Époque , and with her she won the Goya Award for best actress, and the film won the Oscar for best foreign language film.

Subsequently, he has dosed his appearances, choosing the scripts very well. Between 2010 and 2011 she co-starred in the stage play of the classic A Streetcar Named Desire.
