The aryepiglottic muscle (Aryepiglotticus) is a muscle found in the posterior superior region of the larynx; it is a thin, paired muscle.

It is inserted, below, into the apex of the arytenoid cartilage; above, on the edge of the epiglottis.

It is innervated by the recurrent laryngeal nerve.

Together with the oblique arytenoid, it performs the function of depressor of the epiglottis.
