Apollon (P2P Client)

AjustarCompartirImprimirCitar

Apollon is a peer-to-peer (P2P) file sharing network client for the KDE project, distributed under the terms of the GNU license.

Apollon uses the giFT daemon to communicate with the different network protocols, which must have been previously installed. Apollon (or more precisely, giFT) currently supports the FastTrack (used by Kazaa), OpenFT (Open FastTrack), Gnutella and Ares protocols.

Apollon has an interface similar to other modern file network clients, divided into five sections: Information, Search, Transfers, Shared Directories, and Media Player.

The name Apollon was chosen for the Greek god of the arts, Apollo (also known as Apollon).
