Antabamba Province
The province of Antabamba is one of the seven that make up the department of Apurímac, in the Andes of southern Peru.
It limits to the north with the province of Grau, to the east with the province of Cotabambas and the department of Cusco, to the south with the department of Arequipa and, to the west, with the province of Aymaraes.
It is one of the least developed provinces in the department. The active presence of the State or other entities is scarce.

The province of Antabamba has an ancient festival called Huaylia (hallelujah), the reason for this annual festival is the celebration of the birth of the Child Jesus.
