Anse La Raye district

Anse La Raye or Anse-la-Raye is one of the ten districts into which Saint Lucia is divided, a small island country located in the Lesser Antilles, in the waters of the Caribbean Sea. The district is a traditional fishing area and according to 2001 figures its population amounts to 6,071 inhabitants.

The head city of the district bears the same name and is located at the coordinates 13°55' heading north and 61°01' in a westerly direction, 8 km southwest of Castries, the capital of the country.
