Lima is an interesting cultural center in Peru. This can be appreciated by the number of museums that this city houses and that can also be visited by those who do tourism in this country.

In its museums many of the diverse cultures of ancient Peru are represented, from its viceregal era as well as from the republican period. Only in the case of the Museum of Italian Art is European art exhibited.

Some of its museums are located in the center of Lima and the others in the different districts of the capital or on the outskirts of it.
