The 13th Annual Awards Ceremony of the "Goya" Academy Awards took place at the Palacio Municipal de Congresos del Campo de las Naciones in Madrid on January 24, 1999. The direction and presentation was in charge of Rosa María Sardà. The film Open your eyes was the worst stop with 10 nominations and no awards.
