The weightlifting competitions at the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games were held at the Georgia World Congress Center, located in Atlanta from July 20 to 30, 1996.

A total of ten men's events were held in this sport. The program was modified compared to the last edition, the number of categories was maintained but their weight was changed.
