The weightlifting competitions at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Games were held at the Albert Gersten Pavilion, located at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, on March 29, July to August 7, 1984.

A total of ten men's events were held in this sport. The program was maintained as in the previous edition.
