The tennis tournament at the 2004 Athens Olympic Games took place on the hard courts of the Athens Olympic Tennis Center from 15 to 22 August 2004.

A total of four different events were held in this sport, two for men (individual and doubles) and two for women (individual and doubles). The competition program was maintained as in the last edition.
