Annex: Sailing at the Atlanta 1996 Olympic Games

The sailing regattas at the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games were held in the waters of Wassaw Strait, based at the Sail Harbor Marina located on Wilmington Island, east of Savannah, from July 22 to August 2, 1996.

A total of 10 different events were held in this sport, 3 men's, 3 women's and 4 open. The competition program was modified in relation to the previous edition: the Mistral class replaced the Lechner A-390 and the Laser class replaced the Flying Dutchman.
