The Goya Awards were created by the Spanish Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences in 1986.

The following list shows the list of all the winners of the Goya Award for Best Production Direction since the creation of this category in the second edition of 1987.

The production director who has won the most Goya awards is José Luis Escolar, with 4 statuettes, followed by Esther García and Emiliano Otegui, with 3.
