Amparo Llanos Fayos (Madrid, May 27, 1965) is a Spanish guitarist, composer and singer, member of the musical group New Day, and previously a founding member of the rock group Dover along with her sister Cristina Llanos, singer of this group.

Biography

Before the founding of the band, he worked in his mother's clothing store in Majadahonda. His influences include The Beatles, Nirvana or R.E.M.

Dover released their first album in 1995, Sister with Amparo, her sister Cristina (vocals and guitar), Jesús Antúnez (drums) and Álvaro Díez (bass). The album was not a great success, as it only sold 700 copies. Then came Devil came to me (1997) with which they achieved notable sales success.

At the end of 2016, Dover separated. From that separation, New Day was born, of which she is the vocal. Her debut album, Sunrise was released on March 24, 2017.
