Amos Meller.

Amos Meller (1938 - January 23, 2007) Israeli conductor born in Kibbutz Ein Hachoresh in 1938. He composed the United Nations anthem. During his career he has conducted many orchestras and is internationally known. Among them are the following:

Philharmonic Orchestra of:

  • China
  • Moscow
  • Saint Petersburg
  • Sofia
  • France
  • Antwerp
  • Honduras
  • Orchestra House of England

In March 2003, he was asked to conduct the Beijing Philharmonic Orchestra and the Taipei Philharmonic Orchestra, the first Israeli to conduct them.
