"All is Full of Love" is a single released in June 1999 by Icelandic singer-songwriter Björk. It belongs to Homogenic , her third solo album, or fourth if Björk is taken into account.

The video clip for the song continued to air in 2011 on MTV in its classic viedobox block, along with videos such as Ava Adore by The Smashing Pumpkins, Friday I'm in Love by The Cure.

In the US the song was an alternative rock dance hit, in fact it peaked at no. 8 on the US dance charts. The single was the first in Björk's discography to be released in the new DVD single format to improve video quality.

About the song

The song has machine-inspired sounds and is accompanied by orchestral instruments and harpsichord played by Guy Sigsworth. It was originally released as a dance single by Funkstorung with its remixes in late 1998, but later received its own single with a video made for the song in the summer of 1999.

Video Clip

The video clip was directed by Chris Cunningham and in it the protagonists are two robots who love each other.

All is Full of Love received a Grammy Award nomination and won several including "Best Video" and "Best Special Effects" at the MTV Video Awards in the year 2000. The video is itself a sample of the contradiction that exists in Homogenic, black and white and love and the machine (metaphors of the string and electronics existing on the record itself).[citation needed]
