The Albert Einstein College of Medicine is a private medical school located in the Bronx, New York City. Einstein operated as Yeshiva University's medical school until 2015, when it became independent. It is now an independent institution that is part of the integrated health care system Montefiore Health System, which provides medical services to 1.2 million New York City residents.

Einstein is ranked 13th among the best US medical schools for graduate success in academic medicine and biomedical research, and seventh among US universities in NIH funding per investigator. Einstein offers an M.D. program, two Ph.D. in biomedical sciences and in clinical research and two master of science degrees. The MSTP, a program that combines the professional doctor of medicine (M.D.) and the doctor of biomedical sciences (Ph.D.), is one of the oldest and most prestigious programs of its kind.

The school is named after world-renowned physicist and humanitarian Albert Einstein, who agreed to have his name attached to the faculty because the school would "welcome students of all creeds and races" 3. 4;.
