Age of wonders

Age of Wonders is a turn-based strategy video game set in a fantasy world that resembles in many ways the one found in The Lord of Wonders. the Rings. Graphically, it looks a lot like Heroes of Might and Magic. Its concepts are similar to those of the classic Master of Magic.

It is the first game produced by Triumph Studios, a Dutch game developer.

Due to the amount of fans of this game, the sequel Age of Wonders 2: The Wizard's Throne was produced, which was not translated.

Age of Wonders 2 was followed by a sequel called Age of Wonders: Shadow Magic, very similar to its predecessor.

Spanish translation

The translation of the first installment of this video game into Spanish is considered quite bad. For example, the English "3 turns left" ("3 turns left") became "3 turns left", translated out of context. Another example is "smashing club" ("maza de aplamación"), which was translated as "crush club".
