Adhesive case

Contenido In linguistics, the adhesive case is the fourth locative case. This case expresses the position in an open place (as opposed to the inessive case) with respect to which there is an immediate proximity of someone or something. In some contexts, the Finnish adesivo can be translated by the prepositional constructions "over" or "on top of" and in other cases simply with the preposition "in", but indicating a contiguous position, proximity or contact, never location "inside" of the noun in adhesive (in this case the inessive would be used). The rest of its uses would derive from this main meaning.
The other locative cases in Finnish are:
- Elative Case ("outside")
- Illegal case ("docia dentro de")
- Inesive case ("inside")
- Adlative case ("a", "hacia")
- Ablative Case ("Ablative Case")from outside"
Examples:
- In Finnish, the suffix used to express the adesive case is "-lla/-llä», for example «ikkuna» means "window" and "ikkunalla» would mean «to the window».
- In Hungarian, they use the suffixes "-nál/-nél:". «Go ahead» means «the wall» and «falnál» means "close to the wall", "in the wall" (imposed or hung).
