aceúchi or aceucheñu is a dialect of Extremadura spoken in Acehúche, in the northwest of the province of Cáceres, autonomous community of Extremadura (Spain).

Some linguists[which one?] believe that this language has its own defined personality to give it the rank of dialect, since it has its own phonetic and syntactic system.

Speakers

820 (inhabitants of Acehúche according to the 2016 census). It is assumed that a large part of this static population speaks the Acehúche modality, as well as a thousand mobile population (mainly summer) or residents outside of Acehúche.
