The A1 Ethniki, known for sponsorship reasons as the Stoiximan Basket League, is the highest club competition held in Greece.

Founded in 1927, it has been celebrated annually except on thirteen occasions for various reasons. Although the championship has been played 83 times (by 2023), it has only been won by nine teams.

It is organized by the Hellenic Basketball Clubs Association (HEBA), and the official name of the competition is HEBA Championship (in English, " HEBA Championship Division A1'. The first division championship is called 'A1', and is contested by 12 teams. The second category is called A2 Ethniki, and is contested by 16 teams.

It is considered the third best European league according to the national ranking of European basketball leagues.
