(84) Klio is an asteroid belonging to the asteroid belt discovered by Karl Theodor Robert Luther from the Düsseldorf-Bilk observatory, Germany, on August 25, 1865. It is named after Clio, a little god from Greek mythology.

Orbital characteristics

Klio orbits at an average distance from the Sun of 2,362 AU, and can get as close as 1,803 AU. The eccentricity of it is 0.2365 and the orbital inclination 9.331°. It takes 1,326 days to complete one orbit around the Sun.
