Byzantium

  • Spain and the Byzantines make peace after a year of war.
  • The one that could be called the First Lombard League formed by Venice, Istria and Dalmatia are facing Byzantium and Charlemagne who join against them. The Lombard League is defeated and Istria is again Byzantine while Dalmatia is divided into two. The imperial alliance would not break until 1100 during the crusade.
