  • In China the Wei West dynasty begins. The first king is Wen Di.
  • May 13: Agapito I happens to John II as Pope No. 57.
  • Finally I replaces Epifanio as Patriarch of Constantinople.
  • Justiniano I orders Belisario to begin the reconquest of Italy, with which the Gothic War will begin (535-554). Simultaneously World invades Dalmatia.
  • December 31: Belisario completes the conquest of Sicily, defeating the ostrogoda military base of Siracusa and ending its consulate.
