(4661) Yebes is an asteroid belonging to the asteroid belt discovered by Miguel de Pascual Martínez on November 17, 1982 from the Yebes Astronomical Center, Spain.

Designation and name

Yebes was initially designated 1982 WM. Later, in 1999, it was named after the Spanish town of Yebes.

Orbital characteristics

Yebes is located at an average distance of 2,434 ua from the Sun, being able to approach up to 2,042 ua and move away up to 2,826 ua. It has an eccentricity of 0.161 and an orbital inclination of 4.704 degrees. It takes 1,387 days to complete one orbit around the Sun.
