- Ifícrates leads the Athenian expedition that successfully relieves Corsica of the Spartan siege.
- The ancient Greek city of Helice is destroyed by an enormous earthquake and later tsunami.
- The Temple of Apollo of Delphis is destroyed by the earthquake.
Persian Empire
- The king of the Aquemenid Empire Artaxerxes II launches an invasion against Egypt to attract that kingdom back to the Persian government (See Dinastía XXVII and Dinastía XXXI of Egypt). The invasion is guided by Farnabazo II. After initial successes, the Greek mercenaries of the aquemended army push Menfis. However, Pharaoh Nectanebo I is able to gather his strength and reject the Persian invasion.
