- 2095 B.C.: dies Ur-nammu.
- 2094 a. C.: Shulgi, the son of Ur-nammu, ascends to the throne of the third dynasty of Ur.
- 2047 BC: Shulgi dies.
- 2046 B.C.: Amar-Sin, the son of Shulgi, rise to the throne of the third dynasty of Ur.
- 2037 B.C.: Amar-Sin dies.
- 2037 B.C.: Shu-Sin, Amar-Sin's brother, rise to the throne of Ur's third dynasty.

Science and technology
- in Mesopotamia (present-day Iraq): Shulgi (2094-2047 B.C.), king of Sumer and Achad, introduces the gur (‘weight’) as volume measure (1gur= 200 litres).
- in the West of Sumeria (Sudo-West of Iraq): Shu-Sin (2037-2026), king of Súmer and Achad, commands to build a wall of 270 km long known as Muralla de los Martu, created to contain the incursions of the Amorite and Tidnum nomads, coming from the Arabian desert.
Wars and politics
- 2071 B.C.: According to Geoffrey Keating, Magh Ithe, Ireland's first (mitological) battle, is waged.
- Successive wars between the Empire of Ur III and the nomadic peoples of the Zagros mountains.
- Amar-Sin, King gives the III Dynasty of Ur, conquers and sweeps the city of Arbela to stifle the revolt of the coalition of nomadic peoples of the Zagros mountains.
- Constant wars between the Empire of Ur III and the Martu, which—providers of the arabic desert— threatened the western border. Invaden Akkad (midth centuryXXIa. C.) and subsequently, Sumeria (ends of this century) taking, among others, the city of Ur (2004 B.C.), in coalition with Elam, the nomadic villages of the Zagros Mountains, and the City of Isin.
