- January 1st: The capital of Norway officially ceases to be Christian and calls itself Oslo.
- January 1: In Germany the Barmat corruption scandal comes to light. The fact that it mainly affected the SPD and that some of its main stakeholders were Jews was widely used in propaganda by nationalist and anti-Semite groups such as the NSDAP.
- January 3: Benito Mussolini puts opposition parties out of the law, which leaves the Fascist National Party as the only one in Italy.
- January 5: Nellie Tayloe Ross becomes the first female governor of the United States.

- March 10: Austrian Jewish writer Hugo Bettauer is shot in Vienna by a young member of the German Nazi party, in response to a novel where anti-Semitism was satisfied. The writer died a few days after the wounds.
- March 12: The government of the United Kingdom chaired by the conservative Stanley Baldwin decides to reject the Geneva Protocol on Inter-Country Arbitration that had been agreed upon by the previous government of the laborer Ramsay MacDonald.

- April 6: Spanish anarchist Rafael Torres Escartín is sentenced to death for the murder of Cardinal Juan Soldevila.
- April 9: Serious train accident in Barcelona with 24 dead and more than 100 wounded.
- April 10: Motion of censorship in France. President Édouard Herriot presents the government's resignation.
- April 12: Bolivia founded the Bolivar Club.
- 13 April: the Moroccan rifeños led by Abd el-Krim attack the French positions along the Uarga River, extending their Republic of the Rif to the French Morocco. - April 28: The International Exhibition of Decorative Arts and Modern Industries, which would give rise to Art Deco, takes place in Paris.

- 1 May: in the city of Guayaquil (Ecuador) the Barcelona Sporting Club is founded.
- 5 May: in the USA. The famous Scopes Judgment on the conflict between creationism and evolutionism takes place. Although the creationist stance was victorious, his defender, former Democratic leader William Jennings Bryan was very discredited and died a few days later.
- 7 May: Russian writer Borís Sávinkov, captured by the Bolsheviks through Operation Trust, sentenced to death and recently pardoned, commits suicide by throwing himself through a window of the prison where he was locked up, although it is speculated that he could be killed.

- 6 June: the Spanish police captured some Catalan terrorists belonging to the Black Flag who were trying to attack the royal family.
- June 15: After 24 days lost by the Arctic and killed, the Norwegian explorer Roald Amundsen and his team managed to reach the island of Svalbard.
- June 17: in Madrid the broadcasts of Unión Radio, one of the first stations in Spain and one of the most important ones, with the license number EAJ-7. Also released on the same day, the radio magazine Ondas, associated with that broadcaster.
- 17 June: the Geneva Protocol, which prohibits the use of chemical and biological weapons, is signed.
- 21 June: Italy has the fourth and last fascist congress, for which fascism is fully integrated into the Italian state.
- June 25: in Greece General Theodoros Pangalos gives a coup d'etat and is made with power, destituting the former president Andreas Michalakopulos.
- June 27: In the state of Montana there is an earthquake of 6.9.
- June 29: In Santa Barbara, California there is an earthquake of 6.8 that leaves 13 dead and destroys the historic center of the city, with estimated damage of 8 million dollars.
July
- July 9: the Julian Revolution that defeats President Gonzalo Córdova takes place in Ecuador.
- 9 July: in Paris, the French parliament agrees by majority the war against Abd el-Krim and approves a special budget for this.
- 11 July: in Madrid, French and Spanish delegates agree on action in Morocco against Abd el-Krim
- 13 July: by agreement between Greeks and Turks, Basil III is elected a new patriarch of the Greek church of Constantinople, thus solving the problem between the two countries following the expulsion of Turkey from the former patriarch.
- July 18: The book of Hitler is published in Berlin Mein Kampf (My struggle.) Approximate date, since in the foreword of the work mentions that the first part was written in 1924 and the second in 1926 according to the translator.
