• A period of almost constant state of war begins against the German tribes in the Danube, which will continue until the year 180:
  • The Germanic tribe of the Marcomanos fights the Romans in Aquilea. Destroy the aqueducts and irrigation channels. Marco Aurelio rejects the invaders, ending with the Pax Romana that had maintained the Roman Empire free of conflict since the days of Emperor Augustus.
  • Vandals (assdingos and lacringos) and the sarmatist yazigos invade the Dacia. To counter them, the Legio V Macedonica, a legion of Partia's campaign, is moved to Mesia.
  • The Germans devastate the Balkans and plunder the sanctuary of Eleusis, near Athens.
  • Lombards cross the territory of the quarries to attack the Roman Empire.
• Bringed from Partia by the army of Lucio Vero, the plague makes havoc in Rome.

• King Chogo of Baekje fights against Silla on the Korean peninsula.
