(162) Laurentia is an asteroid that is part of the asteroid belt and was discovered by Prosper Mathieu Henry from the observatory in Paris, France, on April 21, 1876. It is named after of the French astronomer Joseph Jean Pierre Laurent, discoverer of an asteroid.
