- Pachacútec: the last King of the Inca Curacazgo, was a reformer of the incaic and conquering politics; he extended the Incas domains from the City of Cuzco, coming to dominate from the shores of Lake Titicaca, to the south, to the center of current Peru, to the north, and founded the Tawantinsuyu or Inca Empire.
- 1431: Eugene IV is appointed pope.
