(1395) Aribeda is an asteroid that forms part of the outer asteroid belt and was discovered on July 16, 1936 by Karl Wilhelm Reinmuth from the Heidelberg-Königstuhl observatory, Germany.

Designation and name

Aribeda was originally designated as 1936 OB. Later he was named with the initials of the Astronomisches Rechen-Institut, Berlin Dahlem .

Orbital characteristics

Aribeda orbits at an average distance of 3,201 ua from the Sun, being able to move away up to 3,396 ua and approach up to 3,007 ua. The orbital inclination of it is 8.644° and the eccentricity 0.06074. It takes 2092 days to complete one orbit around the Sun.
