(13) Egeria is an asteroid belonging to the asteroid belt discovered by Annibale de Gasparis on November 2, 1850 from the Capodimonte observatory in Naples, Italy. It is named after Egeria, a small god from Roman mythology.

Orbital characteristics

Egeria orbits at an average distance of 2,577 AU from the Sun, being able to get as close as 2,361 AU and as far as 2,793 AU. The orbital inclination of it is 16.54° and the eccentricity 0.08379. It takes 1,511 days to complete an orbit around the Sun.
