(112) Iphigenia is an asteroid that forms part of the asteroid belt and was discovered by Christian Heinrich Friedrich Peters from the Litchfield Observatory in Clinton, United States, on September 19, 1870. It is named after Iphigenia, a character from Greek mythology.
