(105) Artemis is an asteroid that forms part of the asteroid belt and was discovered on September 16, 1868 by James Craig Watson from the Detroit Observatory in Ann Arbor, United States. It is named for Artemis, a goddess from Greek mythology.

Artemis is located at an average distance of 2,374 AU from the Sun, and can get as close as 1,952 AU. It has an eccentricity of 0.1776 and an orbital inclination of 21.44°. It takes 1,336 days to complete one orbit around the Sun.

Artemis is part of the asteroidal family of Phocea.
