100 years of comics is a comic strip published in 1996 by Spanish comic artist Francisco Ibáñez belonging to the series Mortadelo y Filemón.

Editorial trajectory

It was published in number 67 of "Magos del Humor", in 1996. In 1997 it appeared in number 134 of the "Olé Collection".

Synopsis

Professor Bacterio has conducted an experiment to extract the powers of comic book characters. When he had finally achieved it, the machine exploded and scattered all the powers into the air. Just at that moment, the Orzuelo gang was passing by, taken by the agents to jail. The members of the gang acquired these powers and escaped. Now they take advantage of their superpowers to do evil. Between them they have acquired the powers of Spider-Man, Tarzan, Mandrake the Wizard, The Valiant Prince, Flash Gordon, The Phantom, Batman and Superman.

Mortadelo and Filemón must arrest all the members of the Orzuelo gang.
