- Todas las razas se mostrarán en los Estados Unidos y Canadá en Speed Channel con la excepción de los primeros 90 minutos del Rolex 24 en Daytona, que se mostrará en Fox.
- El Rolex 24 en Daytona será transmitido por primera vez en alta definición.
- La serie también será transmitida a Europa, América Latina y Sudamérica por SportKlub y Speed América Latina.

Cambios
Reglas
- Para 2008 todos los participantes utilizarán neumáticos de carreras Pirelli P-Zero hasta finales de 2010 antes de que Pirelli regrese a la Fórmula Uno en 2011.
- Un piloto debe ahora conducir al menos 30 minutos en una carrera para recibir puntos de campeonato.
- El procedimiento de carril de seguridad ha cambiado:
- Los coches DP pit en la primera vuelta después de que el carril abierto
- Los coches de GT se encuentran en segunda vuelta después de que el carril se abra
