La ortografía antigua no distinguía entre i y j o entre u y v. Muchas obras modernas distinguen u de v pero no i de j. En este artículo, se muestran ambas distinciones, ya que son útiles para rastrear el origen de las palabras en inglés. Véase también ortografía y pronunciación en latín.

Sustantivos y adjetivos
