La M'era Luna es un festival gótico que abarca diferentes estilos como metal, Future Pop, Aggrotech, Synthpop, Rock gótico, Dark Wave y EBM. Se lleva a cabo anualmente el segundo fin de semana de cada agosto, en Hildesheim, Alemania, en Flugplatz Hildesheim-Drispenstedt, una antigua base aérea del ejército británico.
M'era Luna incluye instalaciones para acampar y tiene dos escenarios: una gran estructura estilo festival de rock, construida para el espectáculo cada año, y un antiguo hangar para aviones.
Con sus 20.000-25.000 asistentes regulares (21.000 en 2005, 23.000 en 2009, 24.000 en 2010) (muchos de ellos en avión a través del aeropuerto de Hannover, y otros viajando por carretera y ferrocarril), el M'era Luna es uno de los mayores eventos de música oscura en Alemania.
El logo del festival está basado en la imagen de la luna de la película de 1902 Un viaje a la Luna del director francés Georges Méliès. Se introdujo una versión modificada del logo para el festival de 2019.
