El Gen Argentino

El Gen Argentino es un programa de televisión argentino emitido por Telefe para determinar a quién consideraba el público "el argentino más grande de la historia". Estrenado el 27 de agosto de 2007, fue una secuela de la serie de 2002 "Los 100 Británicos Más Grandes", producida por la BBC. Los 10 mejores se anunciaron la noche del lanzamiento, con casi 350.000 votos emitidos. En episodios posteriores, se eligieron dos candidatos mediante votación por internet para cada una de las cinco categorías: deportes, cultura popular y periodismo, política del siglo XIX, política del siglo XX, y artes, ciencias y humanidades. En la última emisión del programa, una personalidad de entre ellos fue declarada ganadora.
