La Copa Irlandesa 2008-09 fue la 129.ª edición de la Copa Irlandesa, la principal competición de fútbol de Irlanda del Norte con eliminatorias. La competición comenzó el 25 de octubre de 2008 con la primera ronda y finalizó el 9 de mayo de 2009 con la final.El Linfield era el vigente campeón, tras ganar su tercera Copa Irlandesa consecutiva la temporada anterior, tras vencer por 2-1 al Coleraine en la final de 2008. Esta temporada, llegó a semifinales, pero fue derrotado por el Cliftonville. Los Crusaders finalmente alzaron el trofeo, venciendo al Cliftonville por 1-0 en la final. Con ello, se aseguraron un puesto en la segunda ronda de clasificación de la UEFA Europa League 2009-10.
